Psychological Astrology

So, you may be wondering why I choose to add Astrology to my practice……

As a therapist who follows the teaching of Carl Jung, I have found astrology to be a valuable source of wisdom when working with the BIG questions. Astrology can provide a deeper understanding of where the important learning may lie in the journey of our lives. Psychological Astrology, the type I study, is a style of astrology that utilizes each person’s birth chart as a map of the soul’s evolution, the journey we begin at birth. It looks at our personality, our potential, our strengths as well as our challenges. It is not meant to be predictive, though we can certainly take a look at transits and progressions that may impact your future. It is meant to offer a navigational guide to the psyche and how we grow and change in a changing world. Many of my clients have found that working with the birth chart is accurate and speaks a language that traditional psychotherapy can sometimes miss.

Consultations are a dialog between us.  These can be done in person or over the phone or Zoom and are typically 90 minutes in length. During our time together we will review your natal chart. The natal chart is a map of the planets at the moment of your birth. We will also touch on your progressed chart (how your chart has evolved since birth), as well as major planetary transits impacting your present and future.

For the reading I will need:

Birth date

Time of birth (not totally necessary but can provide greater accuracy)

Place of birth

If you are a parent, astrology readings can be helpful in gaining a deeper understanding of your child’s gifts, talents, temperament and challenges. It is the next best thing to an instruction manual, because as parents we all know that they do not come with one! A consultation can be enlightening when doing personal growth work as well as good guidance at times when we are making changes in our lives.

My fee is $80 per session.
